Philosophy Gathering | June 1st, 2022

Posted by James Helms on

Our third (monthly) philosophy gathering is on June 1st, 2022. John Hooley is bringing a reading from Lao Tzu's Tao Te Ching:

Fill your bowl to the brim
and it will spill.
Keep sharpening your knife
and it will blunt.
Chase after money and security
and your heart will never unclench.
Care about people's approval
and you will be their prisoner.

Do your work, then step back.
The only path to serenity.
A discussion will follow.

What: Community Philosophy Gathering

Where: 8505 NE Fremont St.

When: First Wednesday's at 4:30pm

Participants are enjoying the monthly discussions and we look forward to Wednesday and other discussions every month. New participants are always welcome.
